What I Want To Be When I Grow Up

  • I want to be happy.
  • I want to have abundance all around me.
  • I want to be appreciated for who I am, not who people want me to be.
  • I want to be loved.

  • I want to be smart.
  • I want to be carefree, at ease, content with life.
  • I want to be healthy.
  • I want to be free from the judgement of others.

  • I want to be valued.
  • I want to love myself more than I love anyone else.
  • I want to make a positive contribution to the world.
  • I want to life the best life I can, every day.

  1. I like this, so I can affirm that I:

    * am valued.
    * love myself more than I love anyone else.
    * make a positive contribution to the world.
    * live the best life I can, every day.

This is just what I need as a positive affirmation. Thanks for this post!

  2. I love your blog! It’s really inspiring. I could really relate to the articles where you mention family members who in spite of good intentions, continue to hold you back. I’m going through a lot with my parents and your words really helped me.

You are beautiful inside and out and it shows in the way you write. I wish you lots of success and I look forward to reading your posts.

    1. Aweee, thank you Gigi! Your comment made my day! =)

Keep your head up. We’ve all been there, and sometimes our parents’ vision of us as their children has to line up with our reality of being independent adults. You are beautiful too and worthy of all the happiness coming your way. Keep striving for the best regardless of what others think and you’re sure to reach your destination.
