March Motivation Madness Giveaway #4

The final prize for our March Motivation Madness is a $100 gift card from Amazon.com!! I’m going to do something different for this one. Instead of choosing a winner at random from the subscriber list, here’s how you enter for the last giveaway:

Leave a comment to this post and tell me: Name one thing you’ve done in 2010 to get closer to your goals!

It can be a big goal, like home ownership, getting married, or starting your own business; it can also be a ‘smaller goal’, like improve your eating habits, make new friends or lose 10 pounds.

  • Leave your comment in this post only.
  • Make sure you provide your email address.
  • Contest open to subscribers and Facebook fans only.
  • Only U.S. residents are eligible (sorry to my international Motivated CEOs).
  • Contest ends: Monday, March 29th at 12:00 p.m. EST.
  • Winner will be selected at random from the comments to this entry.

So let me know what you’re working on and you’ll be entered to win. Good luck!!

  1. The one thing that I have done to get me closer to my goals is that I was accepted and started a nursing program. I started my first nursing class yesterday 3-22-10. I am now one step closer on my two year journey to becoming a Registered Nurse.

  2. well, i’ve only got 16 days (actually, that’s quite a lot for me), but i finally QUIT SMOKING!!! whoo hoo! i also successfully launched my first real blog. that’s quite a lot for me and it’s only MARCH. i’m super excited! thanks for asking! i needed that reminder today. i really, really am craving a cigarette, but this reminds me how much time and energy i will throw away if i just give in. thanks! my email address is: bloominglater@gmail.com.

  3. Well, funny that this would be asked, at this time. Because I’ve just started a transition in my life. Now I’m not sucking up or anything like that, but subscribing to this blog-and others- helped me TREMENDOUSLY towards this goal. Of walking into a beautifully progressive community employment agency after being out of work for years; Healing myself from childhood trauma and a really horrendous episode of domestic violence.
Today was my second meeting. We cooked up a resume, hmm, hmmm good too! I feel…okay…motivated!

  4. To move closer to my goals, I have been more intentional about following through and following up. I taped a huge piece of paper to my bathroom door listing the contacts, opportunities, and ideas I have so that I see them everyday. It’s actually hard to not just ignore them though because now it just seems like wallpaper. However, even that one step has helped me get closer to my goals.

  5. Let’s see. One of my goals is to budget my money more successfully. So, I cut down on the frivolous frills in my cable and cell phone bill. I am also cooking more to avoid eating out. I have more $$ in my pocket because of that. My email is daneesharenee@gmail.com
